He cried because he “never” gets to eat candy, and he remembered his tooth that fell out months ago but the Tooth Fairy never came by. I watched his little hands as he helped me chop the oranges for the ambrosia we were making. So carefully, so delicately he chopped each little piece, one by one. My heart was bursting with love for this little creature.

It was an interesting self-revelation to realize that I no longer consider myself Christian, which is horrible considering the very strict Christian upbringing I had, in which Christ and God are everything and life revolves entirely around Godly devotion and divine service.
